Pick ups are wonderfulclear and dirty ranges all sound awesomeBlender single hum bucked knobs rule! And why was the plastic sheet over the pickguard so badly scratched on both guitars? Tuned it and smiled all the way to the studio.
You will have to set the guitar up but thats a given with any new guitar that you buy. The guitar takes semi-high gain distortion well and has a pretty decent clean tone on the neck. The guitar has a bass cut switch on the bottom next to the 2 pickup switch selectors also a killl switch on the upper horn which I use a lot in between songs at a gig or just when you need silence, however it is located in a spot where you could potentially engage it turning your guitar off but when you gig thats what duct tape is for I guess.
Also my one other major complaint is that the coil tapping on the guitar is basically unusable for me because when you roll the humbuckers down to singles it makes the pickup so tinny and thin that it basically sounds like you took them out of phase or something especially on the bridge. It stays in tune very well with the bridge locked too, but overall this guitar is my go to workhorse guitar that is great for what it does. I purchased the sunburst.

Beautiful finish and looks. Was going to replace the tortoise pick guard with anodized gold or cream to be different, but really like how the tortoise looks. Action was a little high.
Took off the pick guard and turned the truss rod a bit. Lowering the string height on the bridge was easy.
The guitar now plays extremely easy and the pickups sound great. Only issue with playability is that occasionally I would brush against the pickup switches with a hard strum.
To keep from turning the bridge pickup off I popped in a small piece of plastic to prevent the switch from moving. This has solved the issue. Overall a really cool and playable guitar. Nothing but complaints it seems. My Jag was delivered ahead of schedule and required only to be tuned. The intonation was on.
The action was as low as possible.
And it is low! No effort to play. The wiring all works as designed and it sounds great. The sunburst finish is flawless. Read reviews and was a bit worried when I ordered.
But I know my way around guitars so figured I could fix anything sent my way. Tuned it and smiled all the way to the studio.
Once I plugged it in I noticed that the bridge humbucker was stuck in the single coil mode despite moving the roller that would switch it back and forth. That function was half the reason I wanted the guitar so bad.
The guitar is amazing.

I also love my guitar directly to give color to my sound since there are a lot of settings available directly on the body like the fact that you can go from simple microphones sound nickels clean, approaching the sound of a Stratocaster twice warm, well rounded, which can be enjoyed as more Bluesmen «Grunge».
